Google Search results

I’ve seen several blog posts over the last few days relating to Google Search and the personalization they do – including some automatic personalization that you have no control over.

Mary Ellen Bates posted about a small informal survey she did. The results are in her blog entry, Is Google really filtering my search results?

What do you think? Have you noticed that you get different search results than your friends? Looking forward to your comments…

I’ve never tried a formal test, but I have noticed that when talking with co-workers about a search we often have different results on our list.
